There are ugly Christmas sweaters—and apparently, there are cocaine-fueled ones. Take, for instance, the ill-advised sweater Walmart is currently apologizing for, which depicts a bug-eyed and grinning white Santa (because Megyn Kelly already told us he ain’t black) bearing what appears to be a straw in hand, ready to snort up the lines of “snow” on the table before him. But it gets even better, since according to Global News Canada, the description accompanying the item on Walmart’s Canadian site reportedly read:
We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole.
That’s why Santa really likes to savour the moment when he gets his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow. He packs it in perfect lines on his coffee table and then takes a big whiff to smell the high quality aroma of the snow.

Of course, Walmart, like its biggest competitor, Amazon, hosts third-party sellers on its site, which is reportedly where the item and post originated, via clothing company FUN Wear (where you can put yourself on the waitlist if you’re in need of a bump). Upon learning of the item’s presence, the requisite apology was issued by the retail behemoth, as reported by CNN Business.
“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” Walmart said in a statement on Saturday. “We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended [offense] this may have caused.”
