SMART will provide free bus rides during Saturday’s Woodward Dream Cruise, with all riders required to wear masks to be compliant with federal mandates.
The shuttle will run along Woodward Avenue, traveling between downtown Pontiac and 8 Mile Road. Shuttle passengers will both see the cruise and be part of it. Event goers can use the shuttle as transportation to desired spots along the cruise route.
Riders can board at any SMART RED or FAST bus stop, beginning at 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Local routes on Woodward will resume regularly on Sunday. Due to the cruise, SMART anticipates service delays near and around Woodward.
