GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Natural food store chain "Lucky's" filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy Monday, but it looks like there are plans for the Gainesville location.
Court filings today indicate that the Gainesville "Lucky's" is one of six stores to be sold to Aldi's Discount Grocers. There is no early word what this means for Aldi's current location, a little more than a mile away.
Lucky's announced a week ago the Gainesville location and most of their other stores would close by February 12th.
