What do Trump supporters tell us about their party as they wrap themselves in self-righteous indignation about the election he lost by several million votes? There are a raft of adjectives that apply.
Hypocrisy, think McConnell and McCarthy who were for condemning Trump for the Jan 6 insurrection until they weren’t. Liars, promoting the big lie about a “stolen election.”
Disingenuous, claiming Jan. 6 was a peaceful protest not a violent, deadly riot.
Intolerant, as they oust Liz Cheney for speaking truth.
Crazy as they wallow in nutsy conspiracy theories.
Cowardly, as they fear Trump’s wrath. They didn’t even have the courage to take a recorded vote against Cheney, afraid of criticism.
Finally anti democratic, silencing voices of any who dare criticize their king. Ignorant, claiming Democrats are socialist while they promote fascism.
They have become, as a Republican warned years ago, the party of stupid.
