Lynn Ellen Racculia worked in the risk and quality division of PHEAA.

Racculia, 49, of Camp Hill, died Oct. 10 in Harrisburg Hospital.

She attended Purdue University for three years where she met her husband but ultimately graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2017. She went on to work in a variety of management positions for PHEAA throughout the years.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she was chair of the Apple Festival and was involved in the parish’s Prayer Ministry and the Pro-Life Ministry. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes, having served as secretary and more recently as vice president and chair of the scholarship committee.

She enjoyed photography and was a gifted writer who especially enjoyed writing poetry and posting about personal growth on her oldest son’s website, www.freedomsreach.com. She also played the clarinet and was recently teaching herself to play the flute.

Surviving are her husband, David Linn Racculia; two sons, Justin and Zachary Racculia; and her siblings, Mercedes Curry, Laura Smart, Susan Zamora and Michael Stearns.
