Woodstock is asking residents to take an online survey to help the city get SMART about transportation.
The survey asks for feedback to help Woodstock develop SMART technology – “data to autonomously improve efficiency, reduce waste and operate in a more sustainable manner,” according to a city announcement – to improve travel in and through the downtown area. Questions ask one’s primary mode of transportation; frequency of visits downtown; ease of finding a parking space; and experience driving through. The survey also asks respondents to rank the importance of such factors as walkability, bikeability, drive times, travel modes and parking.
