Cyberpunk 2077 players have a few choices when it comes to what type of Cyberware they want to install in their hands, but the Smart Link Cyberware reigns supreme for players using Smart weapons. This upgrade allows players to use the smart targeting module in their Smart weapons, and higher rarity ones even increase accuracy and crit damage.
Players using Smart weapons without one of these are missing out on a ton of damage capability, as players will quickly see the difference after equipping it. Like most items in Cyberpunk 2077, there are Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants of the Cyberware, but in this case, all three can be bought in the same place.
The Ripperdoc players need to seek out should be one that they are very familiar with, as he is an important part of the story early on. Viktor's Ripperdoc shop can be found in Little China, right next to the Bradbury and Buran fast travel point. This is the fastest way to get there for players that know how to use Fast Travel in Cyberpunk 2077.
Once inside, talk to Viktor and navigate to the trade menu. Here players will see that Viktor sells Rare, Epic, and Legendary versions of the Smart Link Cyberware. The Rare version activates the ability for players to use the homing aspects of smart weapons, the Epic one increases the chance of these bullets to hit by 10% and increases critical damage by 15%. Finally, the Legendary version increases hit chance by 15% and boosts crit damage by an impressive 25%.
Of course, with increased quality comes an increased price tag, so players will need to purchase one of these based on the current status of their wallet. The Rare version of the Cyberware costs 9,000 Eurodollars while the Epic version costs 15,000 Eurodollars. Finally, players wanting to splurge for the best one available will need to spend 21,000 Eurodollars to get the Legendary version, but the boosted hit chance and damage will make a huge difference. Players struggling to find the funds should consider using some tips to earn money fast in Cyberpunk 2077, or even look into using the item duplication glitch.
As powerful as this Cyberware is, it is only useful when used with Smart weapons. Players using Power weapons should instead seek out the Legendary Ballistic Coprocessor Cyberware, sold by another Ripperdoc in a different area. That upgrade causes Power weapon rounds to ricochet more frequently, and the legendary variant allows bullets to ricochet up to two additional times.
