To be or not to be. The mask is the question.
Do not despair! The vaccine is here. Pfizer's third phase trial is in. It is outstanding. Some of us will be receiving vaccines by New Year's. Moderna is close behind. It lasts even longer in the fridge. Cheer up and keep wearing your masks a little longer!
When I see an older maskless person in a store, most of the time they have just forgotten. That's why it's important for the door people to remind them. Most people here in Midland mask up. We shop early. We stay out of everyone's way. You can see the seriousness in our eyes. We are not terrified. We don't fear COVID. But we are not stupid about it.
In Walmart, when I see the younger maskless guy walk by with his masked girlfriend, I think he's just trying to impress her. Maybe some Viagra would help him. And other maskless people are afraid of their freedom being taken away? Jeez, go buy a gun at Ace and wear it on your hip. Buy two! Putting on a mask is just as easy as putting on a MAGA hat. Yet many people around town don't seem to have the strength.
The pandemic will be over soon. I am anxious to get back gigging with CEYX, Michigan's No. 1 Party Band! Help is coming. My 91-year-old mother, my siblings and I will be at the front of the line. Anti-vaxers need not lecture. Do whatever you want.
